We did not pre-wire for shading during M&E. Can we still specify Lutron Roller Shades?
Lutron Roller Shades have a retrofit answer that preserves most of the outcome. Sivoia QS is hardwired on Class 2, 35 V Lutron QS bus, so retrofitting into a finished ceiling typically requires opening the soffit or chasing the wall for new low-voltage cable. For homes past M&E without practical wiring access, the better Lutron answer is Triathlon (battery-powered or 12V wired, ClearConnect RF wireless, widths to 108 inches, 38 dBA at three feet, 3 to 5 year D-cell battery life through Active Energy Optimization).
